We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news about the latest update to our server, as we transition to Minecraft 1.21.0. The update process is currently in progress, and we wanted to keep you all informed about what's happening, what to expect, and the exciting new features we’re rolling out.

Extra Precautions

We’ve taken extra precautions this time around, ensuring the stability and continuity of your gameplay. Leading up to the update period, we’ve conducted multiple backups to create a reliable safety net. This meticulous approach means that, should the worst-case scenario occur, we have a stable fallback to preserve your data and gameplay experience.

In the past, we conducted backups at more incremental periods, typically every six months. However, with this new system, updates will become the epicenter of our backup schedule. This shift ensures that the most critical and potentially troublesome times pass by smoothly, giving you peace of mind as we introduce new features and improvements.

What’s New in Update 1.21?

With the move to Minecraft 1.21, we’re not just updating; we’re upgrading! Alongside enhancing our current functionality, we’re introducing some brand-new features to enrich your gameplay experience.

Discover Planet Prospera

One of the most exciting additions is the newly discovered planet, Prospera. This planet will serve as a resource world, offering you a fresh landscape to explore and gather resources. However, due to its unstable space-time environment, it’s currently uninhabitable. Prospera has a unique quirk—every six months, it reverts to its originally discovered state, offering a recurring reset that keeps exploration fresh and exciting. Although similar to Planet Earth, Prospera’s periodic reset feature adds an intriguing dynamic to your resource-gathering adventures.

But that’s not all—Planet Prospera will also feature the brand-new 1.21 generated content, including the much-anticipated "Trials". This new feature promises to bring a fresh challenge to your gameplay, offering unique rewards and experiences that you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re exploring the planet’s surface or diving into its hidden Trials, there’s plenty of new content to keep you engaged.

Gameplay Changes & Improvements

Villager Trading Changes: Villagers will no longer offer mending trade deals. This change encourages players to explore other avenues for acquiring this valuable enchantment such as completing each season's LunarPass!

Grave Mechanics Tweaks: We’ve made several adjustments to how graves function:

Graves now last for 10 minutes, up from 5 minutes, giving you more time to retrieve your items.

Players are now limited to 3 graves at a time, adding an extra layer of strategy to your survival.

If your inventory is empty at the time of death, no grave will spawn, simplifying cleanup in certain situations and improving server preformance.

Graves are now protected from environmental damage, meaning explosions or water won’t destroy them, preserving your items until you can recover them.

Automatic Resource Pack Loading: We’ve streamlined the process of loading our custom resource pack. It now automatically loads, making it easier for you to jump into the game with all the necessary visuals and sounds without the hassle of changing your game version!

Minor Improvements & Optimizations: We’ve also made various minor tweaks to enhance the overall performance and stability of the server.

Keeping You in the Loop

As this update is currently in progress, we wanted to make sure you’re fully informed every step of the way. We’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and ensuring that you can get back to playing with minimal interruption.

Once the update is complete and the server is back online, we’ll have all previous data to reference and pull from if needed. Your gameplay experience is our top priority, and we’re excited to see how you enjoy the new features and improvements!
